Coaching

Coastal aCappella is
privileged to welcome top
international coaches such
as
Carole Kirkpatrick -
Judge Specialist in the
Expression category, and
former Master Director. Early
in 2012, the chorus will
spend a weekend retreat
with
Mary Rhea, member of
international championship
quartet Zing!

The chorus will learn vocal
production skills,
presentation and
choreography techniques
and take a little time out to
have some fun!

Music
To find out more about the
kind of songs we sing and
perform, please see our
Music page.
Membership books are opened at various times during the
year and new singers are invited to come along and try out
their skills.

You do not need to be able to read music, but you should be
able to hold your lead, baritone, tenor or bass part with other
parts being sung around you in the chorus.

There is an introductory period where you will learn two
songs - with the music and audio tracks provided.
Ongoing music education is provided through both local and
international coaches.

New members
If you are interested in singing with the chorus, please
contact
Linda for information about our next intake of new
members.
Music education is a priority: The chorus with international coach
